Generosity is juicy. It’s not about guilt trips, or white-people’s angst. It’s not about rigidity or 10% mandates, or voluntary poverty. It’s not about judgment.
Generosity is living abundantly. It’s about giving more power to enjoying what you have, and less power to worrying about what you don’t have.
Generosity is grounding your giving in an ethos of care. It’s not about giving out of guilt.
Generosity is finding the place where your deep passion and the world’s someone’s needs meet. It’s about dancing without angst on that common ground.
Next month in Flock we’ll be exploring what it means to live out of place of Juicy Generosity–
- where it’s fun to give!
- where you feel confident that you are making a difference.
- where you extend love and justice into the world in a way that is soul-nurturing for you. (Because there is no point friends, no point at all, in giving if it feels like crap.)
We’ll also look at ways to live generously even if you are in tight financial times. (You’ve got time, you’ve got talent, and baby, small is powerful!)
Come with us this May in the Flock, as we find right-fit giving solutions so you can give–and receive!–Juicy Generosity.
Much Warmth,
***
