Church of Art: Dreams

Hello Everyone. If you all will get settled down in to your pews, we’ll begin our service.

Today’s sermon is brought to you by Dale Chihuly’s chandelier in the Bellagio, and the Apict app on my phone.

What resonates with you about this word-and-image?

When religion failed me, art saved me. Now I worship at the Church of art, at the intersection of art + spirituality. Click here to soak up more inspiration. (Amen? Amen.)

This particular piece of Dale Chihuly’s glass makes me feel as though I’ve gone underwater and entered a secret place where jellies float by. Or anemones are grouped on some coral.

The sea. That’s where I go.

I see a sky full of fireworks. A face turned upward, illuminated by a pyrotechnic rainbow.

Blooming, blossoming, becoming what is possible. So many possibilities.

This reminds me of when I close my eyes in the sun! I see colorful orbs moving softly about, similar to this. That interior space is my church too . . .

I’m new! Hi! I had no idea how to leave a comment on the manifesto page so I’m doing it here! Yay!

Dreams should be colorful and wonderful! And they should never stop making you wonder :)
