What’s Your Style Statement?

Style Statement Favorite Things
Over in the Flock we are doing our first book group together. Our Read-a-Long is Style Statement: Live by Your Own Design by Carrie McCarthy and Danielle LaPorte. The basic premise is that if you know your core style, it frees you from anxiety about how you spend your money, how you present yourself to the world, and how you invest your time.

One of the things we are doing together is cataloging some of our favorite things from our favorite spaces. My studio best reflects me, so it was easy to find a zillion favorites. Here are a few:  podcasting mic (makes me feel like Ira); windup bird, opera glasses from Wicked; Tivoli tea cup from P;  moleskin for writing love letters to VanGogh; Mardis Gras bebe from Miche; Momster’s business card and Eiffel Tower (from the girls on my 40th), teaspoon from the Loppenmarked, bird candles from Mabel; new tattoo idea, current tattoo, recycled paper pencils, bird scissors from P.

Beautiful photo of your beautiful things, the fabric adds depth & texture to your photo. It’s so true how knowing our core style helps confidence with our decisions.

Whenever I travel, most of my shopping is for fabrics; I drape them over everything at home: hand-embroidery on bamboo hangers, a Chinese newspaper print on our futon sofa. It brings back the places I’ve been and can’t wait to return to.

I adore tattoos and don’t for a second regret getting any of them, I’m currently getting a angel tattoo sleeve down my left arm can’t wait to get it finished! as can only afford smallsessions at anytime. My local artist is extremly experienced and also very expensive but, he’s worth it! Great site btw
