Sacred Life Sunday: Body
November 8, 2009

..and your very flesh will be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words, but in the silent lines of itls lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body.

Thank you so much for picking a picture of a woman with a tummy. My first thought was – I look like her! Very empowering Rachelle. The call to the sacred is easier to head when it’s realistic.
Lovely quote, thank you.
Oh how I love that belly. And keep practicing loving my own!
I have a whole slew of these kinds of artpieces in postcard form and want to post them on Sundays for awhile. Send me your great “body” quotes to accomapny them!
Very beautiful! It’s quite disheartening that in today’s society, we’re generally taught that bodies such as that in the picture are “ugly” and “fat.” Thankfully, when I look at it I see a beautiful feminine form. Thank the gods for overcoming early conditioning! (And thank you for posting this!)
