Twelve years ago, I wrote a novel. It was a wonderful experience and I loved the process of committing myself to the page every day. I tried for several years to get it published and came very close a couple of times, but then my life started overtaking me and I set it aside. At first I was sad that I’d left it behind, but now it feels like it was the right thing to do at the time and the process was worth it even if it didn’t see the light of day. Sometimes it’s about the journey, not the destination. I’m a better writer for the time spent writing, and I grew in the process.

You are so inspiring. The same thing happened to me. It’s OK to let old dreams go. May the flow you are dreaming of find you and make life less stressful, giving you more time and energy. Way to go on this huge achievement!
