*8 Things: Guiding Values
In our on-going mission to DO LESS, we will be taking a look at our values, and using that list to make decisions about which and tasks and projects we take on. Even if you aren’t a DO LESS revolutionary, it can still be enlightening and guide-like to check in with your values pyramid every now and again.

Late commenting, but here goes: I love the values exercise, I did it with my fabulous coach Sally Lever (http://www.sallylever.co.uk/) a couple of years ago. Mine are:
1. Creativity/Flow
2. Authenticity
3. Communion
4. Sense of Purpose
5. Groundedness/Financial Comfort
6. Fun/Self – Respect
7. Relaxation
(I found it impossible to differentiate between some so got in several “two for one” deals! Well I never could choose between chocolate and strawberry ice cream, always had to have both…)

Groundness/Financial comfort is one of mine too, on my values mobile. Only I list it as “security.” I feelt really guilt and shallow that money was in my top ten, but then Jena pointed out that security/financial stablity becomes the “container” that allows everything else to happen/flow. That helped a lot!
