I get sick when I relax too but I thought it was the other way around… like when your immune system fights back it makes you feel unwell, it raises the temp, makes mucus, etc to kill the germs. When you are stressed out your immune system cannot do its job so the germs are just making themselves at home.
As soon as I realised all that, I started taking A LOT more sick days at work!

And I think you have to be right about adrenalin keeping germs at bay. I always seem to get sick on vacation, too.
