I’ve waited to create a mantra until now because I wanted this space and the vesting of space to feel like a part of my life first. A routine that creates something that’s going to continue for a long time. My new (flamenco inspired) mantra is passion-family-spirited.

I don’t have a soultribe.I have been looking for one for a long time. I am starting to think that my tribe is all over the world. But, still, I don’t have one. I am starting to create the emotional space inside myself to have a soultribe at all. I love your readings. This is a soul starved, love starved world. When I did your exercise I came up with the mantra of DeepJuicyLove.

I really like this serie about the soul tribe. My word to go with me during 2009 is "outgoing because I do feel I need to widen my world - and yes, invite a soul tribe! :-) I will try the mantra thing I think... thanks!

I must admit I’ve been delaying on this because I don’t want to live where I’m living, but it’s difficult to move elsewhere right now. So I kind of dug my heels in.

But now I think why not start now rather than having a soultribe in a future that will never come.

So no vesting has happened yet but it will, and this exercise was great. My mantra is “intimacy/warmth/peace”.

I am still struggling with creating a welcoming space. I haven’t fully embraced our new house (still can’t quite call it home yet). I’m working on it because I deeply feel the void of not having a Soultribe.

Rachelle, this is both enormously instructive and inspiring. It’s hard to find both in a single blog (or soul mate).

This part is particularly exciting to me: “Now you are not just a person lacking a tribe, but a person who is creating a sacred atmosphere for your Soultribe to gather. It literally changes your reality. I think it shifts something on the cognitive and the behavioral level.” I also love the three categories of energy you identified. Thank you.

I jotted down my list of 10 words as soon as I finished reading this post (procrastinating from working on my thesis? um, yeah). I’m really surprised at what came out of my pen. The 3 I circled were: unhurried, indulgent, and counter-cultural. Hmmmm….
