Paul stayed up most of the night to watch the votes come in. We woke up the girls at 6am to watch Obama’s acceptance speech.
Hope. A call for shared sacrifice. Hundreds of thousands of people, maybe millions gathering across the U.S. to celebrate. Wow!

We waited till 7, but yeah. So very excited for us all, even us Americans overseas!
It is a wonderful moment. I am so happy.
YEA!!!! We were wondering if Paul would stay up all night. Remember those silly grins Steve and I couldn’t wipe off our faces when we were dating? Those were back. We just kept looking at each other and smiling! It’s happened! It’s really true!! Wow!! We celebrated with beer in wine glasses because we forgot to prepare for a proper celebration. People went out honking in their cars last night on our street. It was great. Miss you.
I so want to get to your newest post, but I honestly am still trying to recover from the enormity of this election.
I can honestly say i am forever changed.
love to you xoxo
