Sixteen Years Ago
Sixteen years ago today I was completely stressed out. I was squeezing out a wedding on a student’s budget, trying to find my brother’s tuxedo, and hoping to make a good impression on in-laws who weren’t all that sure about me. Then, he grabbed the champagne, took my hand, and ran us through a shower of birdseed.
Even now, sixteen years later, that memory of dashing into our new life gives me a sense of lighthearted hopefulness.
I love you Paul. Happy anniversary.

Wow! You guys look GREAT! Having not been married yet, I can’t even imagine the amount of butterflies in ones stomach!! =P Do you still feel them 16 years later? hehehe
