I think we often are presented with the view that to be hopeful or optimistic is to be naive or somehow unaware of how the world actually works. It makes me sad to think of shutting down this way. Even though I hurt big sometimes, I need to hope big. So thank you for your permission to do what is needed to hold onto it. I must make more room for those things in my life. They are just as necessary as the rest, which is so easy to put first. Thank you for this reminder.
