Writing about those two books got me to thinking about just how much those authors have influenced me. Reading them opened a flood gate, and new ideas and rituals came to me by the fistful. i have a couple of little altars in my house, and usually i carry something around with me in my pocket - like my pendulum, a crystal or my tiny silver willendorf goddess figurine.

I love carying holy bits in my pockets as well. I often carry a small silver acron my housemate Rebecca gave me, or a vintage medallion with an image of Mary. I love that the medallion’s background is cotton candy pink!
