This week on Small is Beautiful, I’d like to introduce Elaine Eppler, keeper of three beautiful blogs. With Elaine’s help you can learn how to grow an edible balcony garden, network with some nutritionists, or just take a deep contemplative breath as you follow the seasons. (Now there’s a girl after my own heart!)
I’m sure I’ll be stopping by her place when I exchange my back yard for a window box in our European flat, and Closely Observed is already on my RSS feed. Check out Elaine’s sites and drop her a comment…we’re nice and neighborly down here in Smallville.
Yours in tinyness,
Rachelle

I think you might have the wrong name, while I would love to be credited with all this, I am not the one to give credit to! :) The lovely and talented girl that should get credit is Elaine very similar names!
Oops and Tee Hee! I was working on linking up Elaine and Elayna’s sites and got them switched — the post is right now. We’ll be visiting Elayna’s site soon!

Thank you so much, Rachelle, for featuring my blogs in your sampler. This was truly a surprise. I had taken an 8 hour break from reading blogs – very unusual on a Saturday when I’m home – to paint the walls in my office. I might not even have discovered your post until very late tonight if my mom, who is visiting and learning to use the computer, hadn’t “googled” my name just for fun. This post was at the top of results!
I do like the “small is beautiful” community you’re building. So many interesting neighbours.
And here’s a practical, neighbourly tip to anyone who might be thinking about painting. I highly recommend Restoration Hardware’s paint. Great basic colours and excellent coverage.
