I just cut small patterns in corks. I started out wanting to do the entire alphabet, then I remmbered to start small and made a simple swallow and a star. :-) R dana,

I have always enjoyed sketching, but hadn't drawn in a while. I realized that I don't need some a huge block of empty time, that a sketch can develop in an instant and you can always go back to it.
