It's okay...you already know it's okay. Kids don't have to grow up in "church" to love God, to have Jesus as their best friend if they choose. They need a loving family, family that extends beyond their physical house. You guys have that! On the flip, I love the ritual...not because it's familiar and "what I've always done," because I haven't always done it the same way, or the same thing, but because it's a discipline I need. It's a way for me to stay fed...along with worshipping with the toads and turtles, the veggies in my garden, and the glistening stars above.
