We’re having supper under the trees tonight to celebrate! It will be light until nearly 10! O hurrah!

If you celebrate try reading Mama God, Papa God: A Caribbean Tale, listening to this, and drinking this.

That light issue was why it was so hard to get my monkeys to bed that night. “But Mama, LOOK!” Lily insisted, “It doesn’t look like night time!”

Yes my child, but you’re about to fall over dead with sleep. So SLEEP!

Hope you had a lovely day!

Oh! It is the same here! That’s why I’m so glad school is finally out and they can just stay up until their natural circadian rythms tell them to sleep! Hurrah for Summer!

Ditto on the sleep thing! Doesn’t help that mama works 3rd shift either :( My folks are planning to get us some new cupboards for our kitchen, but I’m contemplating asking them for some SUPER dark window treatments instead! I just wanna go out and do the family stuff. Like tonight, I said “forget sleep” and went along on the picnic/ 4-H project photo shoot DH had planned (county fair starts in two weeks!). The kids were still running through the water where the creek goes over the road at 9pm!

Tell me all about it! Leave a Comment...
